Sony has free weekends. Never seen it for a small game though.
Ps4 has free weekend games quiet often
If someone said it then the person was wrong…
True but square is part of this soooo maybe it’s a possibility?
==out of topic warning==
****** Stupid post warning ******
Is it really tho? We’re are still on the topic of player base and where it comes from and what can be done to improve it
I don’t own a PS4 and never will. So unfortunately I will be slightly affected by [Disinformation Campaigns] when it comes to console games.
Lol.
Everyone’s so testy lately! Ever since free weekend.
That magic card is pretty OP
Not Jace op tho. Now that is off topic
Yeah, yeah, crawl back to your silly mal, ehh, wait, what? Oh, it’s you!
So rude Aenea
I don’t see it to often as I tend to resign when against blue/black decks at around turn 2
It’s 6am and I’m still up, what’s your excuse?
Speaking off, am going to bed!
One less active player people! Check it!
Ok, now we really are off-topic!
I think this is pretty spot on.
Anyone else notice new player comments seemed to be listened to very intently?
As well as some older player comments that fit in line with it.
Even if it wasn’t as successful as ppl hoped, there was still knowledge gained.
There’s even some new faces in the forums!
I’m sure there will be another trial in the future after some updates and more streamlining. Mounts, pets, clothes and races are some huge suggestions. (Three of those were actually new player wants as well) Ppl love to play the show off game.
Also, a one week trial, or x hours, as just two days is kinda hard to gain a true opinion on this game.
And try PS4.
Less doom and gloom please.
It’s also a Friday night and prime time to be out in the US at the time of your post. As a shop keeper I can attest that Friday nights are slower.
Also, this free weekend was, from what I gather, a test to see if the changes they made would help new players. Devs have also said they are taking a slow and steady approach to the game rather than rush it.
As for endgame content… it’s a sandbox mmo and really it is what YOU make it. More content is coming and more will be coming after that.
Also, I’m a PS4 player and I see a lot of us running around. Lastly, many of the new players from the free weekend stuck around. I see an increase of players and I see a lot of people who love this game, as I do.
Every MMO has a “The game is dying” crowd. This game is not dying. This game is in a young stage, and that’s great… I plan on growing with it.
Every game haves this, not just MMOs, LoL which haves many many many many many players, haves people on its Forums saying how the game is dying.
Sorry but, it really grinds my gears when folk say that the game is too expensive.
People have no hesitation running out and paying around €75 for a AAA game such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or Fallout 76 (Laughing at that one!) or whatever and you get what? Around 40 - 50 hrs of gameplay for your money?
With most of these AAA games there’s no way in hell you can get the amount of hours of enjoyment that you can get from Boundless. For example, I’ve almost 1700 hrs in this game. I think I’ve got more than my €40 worth and then some. Don’t you?
Boundless is more than worth the price tag. To say otherwise is just plain insanity. Especially when you compare to what most are prepared to pay for “Big Name” games from “Big Name” publishers and developers.
I totally agree, in the grand scheme of things Boundless is extremely good value for money. Some people will quite happily splash out over £100 for a pair of trainers or up to £5 for a coffee just to pose in front of strangers but complain about a game that can easily provide well over a 1000 hours of entertainment. They should try going to the cinema and buying some popcorn and a drink and see how much change they get from the price of this game.
