But if you don’t feel like reading that
It is a system the devs added because alot of muppets were abusng the beacon reservation system the devs were forced to add. So the less like a Square your plotting layout is, the lower your compactness score will be. and in most cases it won’t let you drop below 0. as such it is designed to prevent you from expanding your beacon to far with narrow pathways.
