Maybe they could make a new totem item similar to it, but made out of silver or gold?
Similar but a tad less durable to give value to the wayfarer still.

Love your idea. I think this would be a great compromise.
Knowing that I’d never be able to craft a Wayfarer totem, I consoled myself by making 1,000 gleambow totems. They have served me well.
Another compromise would be to make the gleambow totems of equal ability to the Wayfarer ones.
Why not a gold totem recipe in the store to go along with the golden fist from the deluxe edition? Plus, gold sounds like the “I bought it on the store” kind of prestige.
Though, not sure about how powerful it should be…
- It should be as powerful as the Wayfarer Totem
- It should be slightly more powerful than the Wayfarer Totem
- It should be slightly less powerful than the Wayfarer Totem
- It should be as powerful as any golden tool.
- I’m ok with all of these options.

You must’ve skipped most of the thread. It never ever ever was about “getting wayfarer totems”. We’re not idiots, we all know we can buy them.
I thought that the gold fists where already for players that bought the upgrade to deluxe , why add an other totem … ( i like the design of the wayfarer 
but I only use totems on my home world when I need to remove things and don’t want to waste a forged tool on it )
What do you all use them for … we already have so many tools available … let the backers have their exclusive totems , If you want some I bet all you have to do is ask and someone will make you one if you bring them the materials needed

- This thread is about allowing all players to craft something similar or close to the Wayfarer Totem, likely a lesser version but not too much.
- Here’s the big-brain reveal : Totems damage all types of blocks equally. The Wayfarer Totem on its own is equal to a Titanium multi-tool. When you properly forge a Wayfarer Totem, you can get a REALLY good AoE tool that can oneshot all blocks on lower-tier worlds. To a builder who doesn’t like to carry EVERY SINGLE type of tool, that’s very useful.
- Truth be told, to me, this thread was over 10 months ago. With the coming of Creative Worlds, I won’t need to buy Wayfarer Totems, I’ll summon my own crazy tools on Creative.

That’s true , in creative you can summon what is needed
I am mostly a solo player and don’t mind going slow and steady in building and foraging … thats why I don’t really use them I guess

Eh, I said gold because it would match the golden fist, but it could be copper for all I care.
On Creative World, I’ll use a Candy Totem, it’s better than your cr@ppy Wayfarer Totem because you can color them, have a green one for mono-target and a red one for AoE.

You want some Wayfarer totems? Set up a workbench. Add me or any of the others who can craft them to your friend list. Add an advanced lock to the workbench and give these people worker perms to the machine. Load it up with the mats needed for 1 or more mass crafts and 1 of us can then turn on the craft for you…
Of course giving us the mats can work too…
