I don’t think it’s unreasonable for Dhusk to ask if the car is moving when he looks out the window and the ground is standing still while cars are passing on both sides

@Rydralain I don’t, as stated, want to force the metaphor. But if we’re using it I’d say we’re sitting in a car. At this point its pitch black out of the windows and we can’t even tell where we are or if the engine is even on. It could be. We could be in the shadow of the Disneyland sign or whatever. Or we could just be sitting in a closed garage in a car on blocks with no wheels. Anyone’s guess at this point and I think it’s important to keep in kind both sides need evidence if they want to make claims as facts.

I was merely pointing out the assumption the car is moving. We don’t know that it is, that’s all. We don’t know if it’s on or even has everything necessary to drive like a driver, engine, or wheels

Sorry I thought the game was the car and the players were the passenger in the backseat. Overhead in my mind would be akin to a car payment. Not indicative of anything except paying off the car, regardless of how functional it may be.
I’m not seeing anyone saying they are of the opinion the car is on. Seems to be some assumptions about it being on and moving. Like yeah im being nitpicky but if you want to be unbiased about this then let’s please be unbiased about it

The point is that you’re wasting your energy complaining and you’re only annoying the people who are enjoying the ride regardless of how long the wait is.
I can’t fathom a reason for anyone to be here if you genuinely believe the game will never get an update and you’ll never be back…
If you do think it’ll be updated and you’ll be back after, then why are you saying it’s dead almost daily?
Why not think about that for a day? Or 6 months. Or just go away like you said definitively that you were going to. There’s no discussion. You’re trolling and there’s no other way to slice it.

It sounds like you are assuming that me saying it’s “on and moving” means devs are making progress, when I meant that it being on and moving means we are waiting for an update to come. Progress towards Disneyland was dev progress towards release in my version of the metaphor.

I’m not trying to be difficult. I’m merely asking for unbiased evidence-driven claims from both sides.
For example:
Was I complaining? I apologize if so, I merely thought the metaphor was a fun thought experiment and wanted to continue with it for a bit. I certainly didn’t mean to force it on anyone, I just thought it was fun to explore it more because I thought it was actually decently relevant and well thought out!
I post pretty rarely of late. Has my account been hacked and there are posts from me making these claims of it being dead every day? If you can show me evidence of this I will most definitely need to change my password asap!
