Or leveling up your horse @bucfanpaka
^THIS^
The graphics change especially was among the top reasons i paused (stopped?) my building so far. You aim for a look and after you’re done, you get a whole other look. Also after changing my glass blocks to glass panes, shortly after that we get glass cubes. This was painful as i used exo gleam for all the glass panes. Would be better if we can know ahead what blocks we’re getting so we can plan accordingly instead of waste resources.
I’m bored.
What me Turns more and more Off playing the Game is that the Connection is getting wother and worther …
I Like the Game playing since Release but i m getting really messed Up by the Connection Problems .
If this goes a few days more Like this i ll quit the Game
I m realy annoyed.
IT makes me aggressiv the time i have spending the Game and i cant get everywhere i want that ridiciolous.
The stuff going on in the world right now is affecting the internet pretty much every where right now. And companies are throttling the internet depending where you are. even PSN is throttling downloads
Yeah my internet acts up all the time. Finally stretched out all the wires I could to the max. And plugged in the internet directly rather than use WIFI. And it’s been so much better. I might actually try a hunt to see if it lags out.
turri, this is a world wide problem… it has absolute nothing to do with boundless or wonderstuck… even netflix is slowed down…
but i know… thats sucks…
Falling to my death while building kind of sucks. lol
Or sprinting around an unfamiliar planet and falling down a hole to my death irks too.
Not Boundless’ fault though. One of these days I will learn to always have a grapple in my off hand. lol
and just now I was traveling around Till building dirt bridges over the lava to get from landmass to landmass.
Evidently I was building the dirt bridges too fast??? Connection Problem* My guy starts stuttering around and the next thing I know is I am in the lava and now have a death penalty.
Good grief. oh well
I agree with this
watch your step…
and stop hunting butterflys… xd
maybe ur able to do this… i cant… i still fell in holes, lava, water etc. while walking around and look at the “butterflys”
Another eso man huh. Used to play that a LOT.
Selective hearing?
Hm, if this helped you maybe it’ll help me. Where’d you get a cable stretcher?
Floating loaf/pie/whatevah
Well, to be honest, I had similar feeling as you before.
But after I leave the game for couple months, and return, I feel i can love this game again.
I don’t have much expectation as before, but I think I love this game better. lol
However, I think you are right. They need to start promotion and try to do small update more often instead of creating a lot of unique concept which require a lot of work and time.
Most successful game I played, they adding contents slightly, and some big patch every half year I think. I know they try very hard on every patch, but I think they need to do better planing on each patch. This will help them to keep old players in game. Good promotion can bring new players to the game. Unless they don’t want more players to join.
I think if they released one new thing every week, even if it’s just a skin or a single block type, they’d get more regular players.
Yeah, I think they are over seeking the perfection for each update.
Every week may be too hard for the small team they have. But every 2 weeks to 1 month for small update I think is better than nothing. I have been quit for like months, and this time I return all the new update I find out still some new blocks. I like new blocks, but I think we can get a few for each patch plus some content improvements and balance. Things like falling damage for high hp character should be fixed long times ago. Since the game release, I can’t even counted how many times I died because of grappling to the wall lol.
The fun thing is my builder doesn’t has this trouble because I don’t have any point on hp and max the falling damage. But for my hunter, I can’t do that otherwise I will get one shot by monsters in high tier world. However, during the hunting event, using grapple to run is way more often than fighting the monsters. I think this also one reason that part of people do not enjoy hunting at all.
We could use some more/newer hunt leaders as the seasoned ones have moved up to T5-T6-etc for regular hunts; I’m enjoying the two platform/warp-based hunts but I’m also a spoonie that’s bad at video games and keep needing to take days off to recover from the tension & adrenaline.
In aerials we had lots of padding for falls and nothing shooting bombs or lasers at us or angry goats ramming us. Though the oort return isn’t as beefy and in some places the falls are still bad, I miss there being a daily T3/T4 hunt! That had more of the familiar soaring swooping giddy feeling and I miss it.
Another way of leading a hunt that could be friendly for less intense combat-oriented folks is to make a lower tier hunt that’s longer (for more oort) but has a break or two to run home & empty pockets & refill augs & such & take some deep breaths, feed the cat, and come back for another round refreshed.
I’m assuming it takes a LOT of time & effort & practice to learn to lead a hunt, which makes the highly skilled hunt leaders desire for the more exciting tiers very very understandable.
I have no insight into how folks learn where to run to make the meteors fall, but when I go chasing roadrunners there’s usually a handful of meteors involved (I usually run away, too) so maybe this is something folks out there sitting out the hunts could work on – coming up with a less hyperkinetic and brutal hunt method on T3/4 planets and make sure we’re learning together so we have lots of hunt leaders for whatever style we come up with? And record it all somewhere, maybe call it Meteor School…
Either way, a half dozen folks with me would get me to run towrd the meteors that I run away from when I’m hunting alone. :). I do like hunting alone (except the killing part --that’s still sad when I’m not all pissed off/scared of the murderbeasts-- so I try and run pas whatever I just killed so I don’t see the death) so Imma gonna still do plenty of that anyway, I can’t do the big meteor hunts without the adrenaline glands. ![]()
This is kind of the opposite of what happened for a while. A lot of ‘seasoned’ hunt leaders got bored or left the game over drama, and the oort return is so much better at t4 that for a long time it was hard to find a group hunt on a t5 or 6 planet.
I’ve been seeing more T6 hunt announcements lately and I’m about to dig into my “backup” oort so it’s almost time to log into my hunter again.
