i would like to see oortstone back in mob not just in meteorite and loadrunner…

Oortstone was always intended to be rare, so that there aren’t so many portals, so I think it’s going in the right direction.
how so is this why
Because it is kind of rare in game, and is described as an ultra rare resource, so I think it should actually become harder to find.
I’m not sure what the plans are with regards to portal fuel, but on the test server, it appears the new “Opal” will form an essential part of Portal Travel (at least according to the tooltip!).
I think this will be great! Making portals a more group responsibility then that everyone has a portal to everywhere 
thats what we are doing with Portal Seekers. Keeping the network accesable and connectable for everyone for just 1 oorthshard an hour. And still be able to visit all the planets and most cities.
Correct, 90 per mass craft. So not terrible. Won’t be a large impact on already established networks/hubs.
One point to note, that one of the games core structures and designs including in its name is “boundless”, is designing and having tons of portals. Limiting them a little does hold true to keep useless portals everywhere and being over produced. But only the devs know what over produced translates as.

shops do sell oortstone, there are a few at aquatopia I think.

I think maybe it’s your perception of the rarity of the item. Fighting a core 1 or 2 meteorite by yourself isn’t impossible, and core 1 are relatively easy. Finding dormant meteorites and fighting roadrunners is pretty easy, too. For smaller, local portals, it’s like 1 oort shard/ hour. And a mass extraction of just 18 rough oortstones gives you 250 hours of stones…or just over 10 days.
I know I’ve seen Oort shards for sale. My own shop, Fireside Coal & Fuel on Vulpto is always stocked at 12c per shard (before tax). So one day costs you around 300 coins to run if you want to out source your shard purchases. I have just shy of 1,600 oort shards on sale right now and unless someone buys me out I usually keep it that stocked.

Where are you coming from? If you know the Portal Seekers Network, I am on Vulpto. Just go to their Vulpto Hub and then to the SHOPS section (behind the Nasharil portal). It literally pops out right at my shop.
I can come meet you where you are and do deliveries as well. I don’t mind 
at munteen 7 at muteen output near omni shop

Oortsone is actually really quite easy to farm for near-max/max characters. I can easily tank the damage from a level 2 meteor on either T2 or T3 worlds (Have not tried against higher level meteors because they can’t spawn when you are solo). If you want to be doing this it requires you to actually focus on fighting talents such as health, damage reduction, power, etc. The face you have to specialise is what I believe the devs want us to be doing.
I almost exclusively use gem sling bows for fighting and it usually takes around 5 minutes per meteor.
