I took at stab at organizing the main page: http://oortonline.gamepedia.com/Landing

If that looks good, could someone with admin privileges plop that content into http://oortonline.gamepedia.com/Oort_Online_Wiki?

Thanks, nevir!

Done! It should now be live.

nice new main page, i try it to find out how i can change but i found it not^^

Hey all, I know this is a fairly old thread now but I thought I would have a go at organising some of the crafting and information into a quick to use reference page here - http://boundlesscrafting.com/

It’s not complete yet as I need to add things like image icons (and other images, block colour variations and which world the different types of block can be found on.

Let me know what you think!

wow @Stretchious

Thanks @ben ! I hope you don’t mind me reusing the styles within the game to make the site? I wanted to keep it familiar for players to use.

I was wondering if there was a sprite of item images that I could use? It’s a bit hard to pull them from the game with them on an angle or the quantity overlaying the image…

Also, if anyone sees anything that I have either mis-categorised or gotten completely wrong, please let me know and I will amend! Cheers

Thanks @Thorbjorn42gbf - a veritable wealth of information in there! Expect an update to the site in the next couple of days at this rate

This is incredible!

Hope this will be updated till and beyond the release … it’s fantastic and may be a good cause to by a second monitor just to have it open next to the game ;D … Great work!

Thanks @TheBirne !

Speaking of updates… I’ve just pushed another one  You can now specify which colour variation of an item you are looking for and it will update which world it can be found on - currently only Gleam has any data at present, and even only in part as I am trying to scrape this information from forums posts etc.

I also pushed an update yesterday, so you can see multiple recipes for an item - so for items such as a door, it should now have 2 recipes associated with it, one using Twisted Timber and another using Ancient Timber.

You could also just write timber and when you hover over it with the mouse you see details, in this case the names of the different woods you can use.

Especially for the future, as there surely will be a lot of different trees, that would simplify the whole thing.

Unfortunately I wont be able to do it that way, as each of those timber types then has a colour variation, which could also be different per world - if I were to group them into a primary item, I would then have to drill down to a sub item level to see what those additional details are.

I’ll stick with how it runs at the moment, but if it gets too messy when more and more game assets are introduced, I’ll have to do a bit of refactoring
