You know what really Grinds my Gears?

Yup, i usually just go to sanctum and bump to get by anyhow…

This is not a matter of somones door being left open or not, its because that person dosen’t want to enable easy public access to that location, most of the time it is because it is near a farming spot. or maybe they just don’t want people looking around their stuff quite yet.

You mean you don’t like the extra excitement as you only have seconds to pull out your grapple to save your self from eating the ground or falling into a very hot drink?

Really tall grass surrounding a deep hole that I can’t see until I’m falling in :frowning_face:

This is 100% on me, but hopping through 5-9 portals and then warping to a favorite mining or gather spot only to realize I forgot to pick up a stack of hammers/shovels and have to go all the way back.

When im out with my miner whacking away on some exterior blocks, like gleam for example, then all of a sudden… !BOOM!..hi ho hi ho, it’s off to sanctum I go! Hopper gets ya after one hopping from seven blocks away cause a lvl 3 meteor was nearby but the trees concealed it haha!

How about this? Technically not concealed. You can see the portal now.

I understand however, with the way the game is currently structured, a group of us has used a locked portal to get to where we wanted to build a settlement. The locked portal gave us time to plot the areas we needed before someone else used our own portal to come in take plots we wanted. Once we had the area plotted and were as certain as we could be that we would not need more area, we did remove the lock.

Technical troll is techmically correct
When this happens, i just view it as either “a guided detour” or “you shoulda saved your entry portal location and carry 100c”.

Pop a Warp augment into your atlas, it’ll show you claimed plots. This helps me get around those ppl. Still…. Rating: :frowning_face::frowning_face::frowning_face::frowning_face:

When I am chiseling a bunch of blocks in a row, and I am clearly aiming at a block, and it ghosts thru the corner, hitting the block behind or under it. Rank: :frowning_face::frowning_face::frowning_face:

When you’re on ps4 and sit the controller down for a second and start swinging your offhand glow/magnet chisel :frowning::frowning::frowning::frowning::frowning:

I don’t know if its considered grinding my gears or just creepy, but I don’t waste time in the sanctum. I get the heck outta there right away or shut my monitor off… The master oort guy staring at you and never blinking…:frowning::frowning::frowning:

Hahaha! Little bit light hearted.

lol “Hello sir!.. Oh… you just gonna stand there? What if I jump around you all willy nilly like!!! nothing? Can you even breathe out here? I don’t see any food… are you a robot?”

I hate this one so much. There is one situation that frustrates me the most. You are using square stone chisel and looking up at a block 3 or 4 blocks above you. You want to thin the block down to half thickness. So you swing at the top quarter and lop it off. Then you point at the bottom quarter and swing…_and the top back part disappears!

:exploding_head::exploding_head: makes me want to throw my chisel into the next region.

I’m dreaming of an undo tool. Which just, undoes your last action regardless of if it’s chiseling something, breaking a block or plot something you didn’t want and can’t find.

I was doing this trick Annixa taught me where you get gleam light to shine thru blocks by square chiseling out opposing corners. Due to other restrictions in the build I had to do this chiseling one block at a time from right to left. If I had made any mistakes which chiseled out a section I already completed, I would have had to delete the whole row of blocks and start over. It was like playing surgeon simulator when I was building that wall.

Would buy a chisel with the undo boon in a heartbeat.

I would imagine they’re even more valuable now that LED blocks are out, since players might want to go backwards in the progression without hitting the block 15 times
