Chromis I Color Surveys - January - Closed

Hello again!

As you may know, the world [Chromis I] --[T3 - Rugged Lush Sovereign World]-- [Active] changes it’s colors based on community survey each month. The survey happens in two stages. The first stage is to select the theme, and the second stage is to select the specific colors based on the theme. Each survey will be open for one week.

Some blocks may not have perfect matches for the themes, but we’ll do our best to get close for each block!

Without further ado, our theme options for January!

  • Fuzzy Blanket (muted colors)
  • Winter Cabin (Browns, greens, and whites)
  • Campfire (Blacks, browns, reds, oranges)
  • Stormy skies (greys, muted blues and pinks, ashens and rusts)

Oh, and if anyone has image files for each of the colors and they want to let me use them, please let me know. I’d like to use it to make the color survey part a bit better.

If there is any feedback on how I’m doing these surveys, I’m very open to it. We’re doing this for the community, so anything we can do to make this more awesome for anyone is welcome. Posting here or PM is welcome.
Farm or Welcome Center feedback is very welcome on the main Chromis I thread!

Stormy Skies

I went for gloomy winter storm & stormy sunset colors here. I may have gone a little too gloomy for a winter storm, but I hope you enjoy! I’m really looking forward to a cozy, gloomy Chromis after the Holiday Lights!

I found a way to get color images in here using dummyimage.com and a quick PHP script to generate the poll code.

For the flowers , here are my suggestions :blush:

Glade: deep cobalt
Clone: cobalt
Spine: strong Azure
Ghost: deep cobalt

Rosetta Nox : Blue

Since I see a couple votes for Shadow Cerulean gleam, I thought I’d double check it - it does look like there is a world at the gleamhub with that. I’m leaving it up, since I hate the idea of invalidating those votes, but I thought I would note it.
I double checked the other colors and don’t see them at the TNT gleamhub.

Halfway through the polling timeframe, so pick those colors!

We’re aiming for a Monday change, but some other plans IRL may change that. Polls still close Monday morning, though :slight_smile:

Just a reminder that ties are broken using random.org to pick one of the tied up options, so make sure you break those ties!

I’m excited to see what this month’s theme ends up looking like on Chromis. The holiday lights are fun, but a bit too much after a while.

Chromis colors are updated! The main thread will get updated once the color scan is complete.

Please send us your suggestions for themes for February!

So far, we have

  • Love (Reds & pinks)
  • Sadness (Dark & gothy colors)
  • Passionate Fire (Fire colors - reds, oranges, bright blues)
  • Frozen Heart (Icy Blues and Whites)

Hopefully we get enough suggestions to not need some of these options :grimacing:

Oh, and note that we live in the Southwest United States, so we have no seasons here. If we’re off the mark on season colors, let us know. Every season is “brown with some pale green” here.
