Bank is a good idea for a build, even if it’s not 100% functional. We can build it later on to add some life to the trade district 
OK, so I hope nobody was too attached to that map, because we’re regenerating some of the local terrain. This newer version will be better suited to the ideas you guys have had, and add some sweet details that have been requested! Example, a river flows through this new set up, and connects to all the other rivers in the world!

This world is not yet generated, so you won’t see it if you visit Kovah right now.

Alright, lots of tweaks:
- Color changes:
- Primary trees are now the deep orange + dark wood
- Accent trees are the dark magenta + a reddish wood
- Stone is now a reddish pinkish color
- Dirt is much lighter (cream)
- Terrain changes:
- Rivers have been reduced in width a bi
- Jungle terrain makes more gradual changes
- Jungle floor is less likely to drop out into caves
- Steppes are more gradual; and are more common
- Desert is far less gradiated
- Lava!
Just before i forget it, i think we should have a Log Horizon style Cathedral too, meaning that the spawnpoint will be placed in a Big cathedral and everybody who dies there without home position will respawn in the cathedral

I think the mountains should be bigger in this world, the mountains were kind of small for a city in the last one, that’s just my opinion.
There’s more mountains and mountain ranges closer to the city this time around - here’s the overall biome distribution (the area pictured above is the middle 64x64 pixels of this):
I’m sure that big mountain range will be fun to build on…
…but, IMO our current terrain has a better mix of interesting terrain features to expose to players
I think the problem they run into is the hight limit, they are as tall as they can be. But if they go wider it makes them look squat.
I think the last mountain was about 100 blocks give or take some. Isn’t the limit like 215.
the last mountain was at the height limit. It’s base started at 150.
Very true but some of it is underground and you don’t want to go to the very top so you can build on the mountains
One thing I think you guys are not thinking about, is that that river that runs through the city actually connects to nearly every river in world*. We can build a harbor in the trade district and if/when boats get added we can have ACTUAL trade canals

On the plus side, as a side effect of smoothing out the steppes biome a bit, mountain bases should start a bit lower (110 or so)
Ok,I like the idea Havok. Would we have special city boats, with our own special flag.
That’d be up to the individual player, I suppose.
So have it, I got to know what are we working on right now?
I am still kinda hoping for ships and boats too, that way we could have island worlds where there is just water and alot of islands, but atm we havent gotten anything told yet, so not sure if boats or even mounts will happen, but i agree, its kinda cool if it happens 
right now, the road layout is being decided by the small group and we are waiting on the devs to launch the new version of the world.
So,there’s nothing really to do/talk about/plan.
Not this very moment, nah. If ya’ll want to keep coming up with builds, that will be useful once we get to that stage.
