I’m intrigued by this statement, does this mean you actually used a level 2 alt to do the mining with?
Oh no not at all, I used a lvl 2 alt with zero inventory to sell everything with. I guess that was useless info to include. I wanted to see how much exp I’d make trying to find shops to sell to lol.
I wanted to state clearly the character I was using to sell with had nothing on him so anything acquired on him was pure profit from the mining sells.

Ah I see, that makes sense, I was just curious because my level 50 miner would struggle to get those quantities so I was wondering what I was doing drastically wrong

I pull these yields any time I go mining. Higher if they aren’t broken hammers. I think aena actually has a few cheap hammers comparable to the broken forges I was using. There 4-6k I think.
Sometimes I strip mine but other times I just go bonkers and rapid fire an entire sphere around me. Funny enough I ‘feel’ like the bonker sessions are when I have the highest averages because I don’t miss ‘bulky’ seams.

I try to strip mine but always end up going off in random directions following the seams within the hotspot areas, I’m probably not the most efficient miner lol

I’ve added some very good public mines to the Ultima portals for anyone looking to mine; topaz in Galan (++fossils, iron, topaz, hard coal, titanium), Diamond in McKib (+++diamond, ++hard coal, +silver, +gold, ++iron, ++titanium) must mention there is NO LAVA at this mine and it is massive!! I challenge you to try an clean it out!!. A sapphire mine in Houchy (++Saphire, ++iron) there a also a very large hot spot next to this one. As soon as I get a chance I will also add the Norky Amethyst mine. (++Amethyst, +Emerald, ++silver, +titanium, gold, +hard coal, ++iron) of course lava is unavoidable here. None of these mines block any of the hotspots. Just give safe access to anyone who wishes to mine. Some of the signs may not be named yet, but are in the process. Cheers and enjoy!

I got a mine amethyst in norkya with no lava at all it’s pretty good actually
How is there no lava? I thought amethyst exclusively spawned near lava?

Always plenty of diamonds and no lava (unless you start going into the silver veins) when you come to Corinth on mcrib.
What you are referring to here is what we nixians call Trip mining!

Why do we still not have an auction house or some help with trading in this game? Why is a miner supposed to spend more time trying to sell then mine? Why are buyers just farming it themself because it’s faster then finding a seller?
And before someone mentions the “but… but… exploring” rubbish. People don’t explore… at… all! They just dig down and farm it themself because shopping is not working

Just come to my shop stands I will buy them…ps hub bottom floor and dirty mayo in tnt hub…keep them flowing…and thanks to who ever sold 300k of gems… lucky I put a bit in there…
