I Have been wondering about the tick rate as well. I was mining last night when mine occurred. What is weird is I have had crashes while prepping my planet while I am alone on the planet, only a meteor or two active and had crashes. Then during the hunt with multiples down and all kinds of action going on, no crash. Today I walked thru a door to one of my Sovs and the game literally just started flashing. I couldn’t move or anything. Had to close the game and restart. After that small rubber banding for a sec or two then fine.
I’m unsure what the root cause is and I’d hate to speculate but I’d be happy to help any other way I can.
I have sent in lot of autogenerated crash-reports when re-enter after a crash.
Only happening when game sweeping up mined blocks, i think.
Im not totally sure where those crash reports go. Someone mentioned they go to Steam… I think?
I created a thread for crash reports and pinned it for a little bit. Maybe that will help.

I’m getting this error too on PS5. I’ve tried two different accounts and getting the same message.
finally got in - just took me several times of reloging PC steam and Boundless
so i assume its just a routing hickup between game server and my client

Just crashed like 4-5 time in a row within minutes of each other. On my Sovereign planet “OViS”. Look around 0:00 UK Time.
Was just building normally, nothing weird.
Agree on the steam I couldn’t reach the update servers to update games earlier but is fine now. I know a few others that have had some random crashes this evening though. But I have not tonight. Seems very random.

Weird, the update never effects any game I’m playing. As soon as it crashed I could get straight back on. Hope we can get to the bottom of this soon, pretty frustrating. But I understand that it will take time to pinpoint the exact issue
Bunch of crashes tonight. Played from like 19:45 - 21:00. Building, chiselling, normal stuff. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Boundless midway through the session to see if that helped, it didn’t make a difference.

Doing anything special? I seldom crash and if I do it’s like a quick crash where the game closes quickly, I usually restart and its fine, however I have had it happen 3 times in a row, but usually fine after.
Literally placing and chiselling blocks, building a boathouse lol. No funny business. Yeh the crash is instant and i can get back into the game within 10 seconds.

just had it do it and al i was doing is harvesting Rosetta nox for orbs lol
Leys hope Eric can get to the bottom of this as its becoming unplayable, crashing every 5 minutes 
So weird you crash that often. Im in the game literally for hours on end like 8+ a day doing all sort of things. I don’t crash very often. I at times go days without a crash.
Thats including mining, harvesting, building, solo hunts on T6s/T7s and a few other things.
after abusing game mechanics for years, karma finally catching up with @Ovis

The crash dumps (mdmp) really helped. Thank you for sending them!
It looks like it’s crashing in the particle system, trying to remove/delete a particle.
I was hoping that the game might have an option to disable particles, to test without them, but I didn’t see any options for that.
