I think my complaint is rooted in that we’re getting lots of props that feel like they should be general year-round decorations, but are getting tied to holidays, and that we haven’t been getting any new regular props. It also doesn’t help that, from what I understand, red candy canes are in short supply with this event.
In my opinion, snowmen and jackolanterns being a holiday thing is cool. Roasts and water breathing potions being a holiday thing is frustrating.

Candy totem bummer (special totems suggestion) Suggestions

While its cool we get these special totems. Could it be possible to add something actually Special to them? Like gleambow totem would turn blocks to random color or something? Mass craft for these is 90 each cane (a lot) considering how you get example red canes. Doesnt rly make you wanna do a set of 600 base dmg totem that just “looks cool”. I was first excited when i heard theres gonna be totems, but personally im gonna pass these. Theres nothing new… just different skin. Thoughts?

I like it. Just gotta be conservative with the special mats until you need one of the decorations. I don’t have that many places where I want a big feast sitting out for all eternity.

The birthday candles are the only ones I wish were year-round but even so I have a lot of presents to craft them as needed too.

As these new food decorations are the only of their kind, I am super pumped for this and getting to add a more immersive look to my house’s dining room and kitchen!

We’re also eventually going to get the display block that lets us place any mat on any surface so there will be plenty of dishes to build a feast with.

It’s good to see that some people do like this system, though. With the economy, most of the time it doesn’t matter, but hopefully red candy canes aren’t prohibitively rare this year. I really wanted sparkles a few times since I started playing, but they are wayy too expensive for what they are.
