Other games

I suppose I meant it seems they might have bitten off more than they realised, just from a brief scout around the forums etc.

Just to clarify was talking about endless online:

Hope they make it through the valley of despair, but looks like a long journey to me.

Keep following the project, if you have the time. In a way… when starting something new and fresh. This chart pretty much will dictate the highs and lows. This could even vary day to day. The criticism is expected but that doesn’t stop or deter the team from doing what they plan on creating. They are educated, skilled, and experienced in their respected fields.

But thank you for stopping by at least. We hope to change your view over time! If the confidence still isn’t there, I am sure there are other games out there, that will suite your needs.

P.S. If anyone has any suggestions for a game that combines Skyrim and Minecraft…please let me know

Great that your pursuing your interests, just think it will be a while before they are realised. X x

My favorite other games are Minecraft (for survival and multiplayer), Elite: Dangerous (space game ftw, might get the new expansion soon when my hardware is upgraded),and No Man’s Sky (a game to chill out in, relaxation in space). I would love to see a game that combines Skyrim and Minecraft, without the infinite iterations of course :stuck_out_tongue:

Yup! Which is why a release date is not posted or advertised…Much to get done and polish before releasing. Expectations are set

7 days to die A20 is out on stable branch! Best update yet!

Game is also 70% off right now on steam!

100% this. I will always have so much respect and gratitude for the work the team did, Boundless has given me a lot of smiles through some very tough times.

Also 100%: The team with this project is exceptionally talented and knows exactly what they’re doing. And it is a full fledged registered studio - based in NC. I’m involved with helping with the social media (working on this been a huge boost to my self esteem, giving me some purpose and reason to study and better my skills), but also I was the first and pretty sure the largest current donor. I think I’ve given something in the $3,500 range, I actually lost track, just giving as urgent needs arise before the real fundraising starts. Anyways, no WAY I would be doing this if I didn’t believe in it. Leader/CEO is very transparent and keeps me very well informed how my funds are being used and status.

Even then, I only jumped in when it was beyond obvious to me through lack of communication and other signs that Boundless was going to at best be in maintenance mode and we may well lose it. Though this project will be it’s own game and different in many ways with influences from different games, my hope is that it will allow the dream of Boundless, the spirit and community, to in some way to survive and eventually really thrive. I still believe in the dream of the Turbulenz team… it deserves to live on.

Maybe my getting out of this effed up valley of ridiculous circumstances (aka USA health care for the destitute has been astoundingly shitty compared to the doctor I had before I abruptly fell out of the middle class and I’ve probably rage typed this story of my oh woes iz meezorz in novel form a hundred times already so etc etc etc) in my real life will coincide with either Boundless or the other game getting into full hum and I’ll even be able to save up and get a gaming PC for it

I’ve been in a terrible mood lately and pretty much determined to stay that way but go figure I spent all day in Boundless and I’m starting to chirp chirp chirp again… COMPLETELY involuntarily…

Move to canada until you get into middle class again. You’ll be able to afford healthcare there (albeit it taking long), and you can come back when you can afford it.

any canadians want to marry me?

You could always move to Oklahoma as well. We have SoonerCare, which has been approved for everyone over the age of 18. So far I haven’t had to pay for any doctor visits or medications since it went into effect.
And marriage? Depends upon what you’re looking for

Oh I know this all too well. I left a job to take a new one. Medical monthly premium $458 per mile month, medical supplies $250/month, and therapy an additional $50 per week (doesn’t count towards my medical deductible)… 2022 I will be without healthcare for the year to put some money aside.

Lately I’ve gone back to Minecraft, but only vanilla ssp or realms with my nephews, and not hosting giant moded SMP servers like I used to do. I’ve also been doing a lot of New World which, despite its many flaws has been fairly enjoyable from an MMO perspective.

I’ve been playing a modded vintage story build. I haven’t tried new world…when I read an article that the author stated casuals shouldn’t play it. I didn’t buy into the game despite me really enjoying group based mmo’s.

Yeah, I’ve gotten back into Minecraft bigtime lately, and just doing Bedrock for now, so vanilla. Love the new update and another coming before too long!

Although it doesn’t have building elements, another I love that I’m replaying again on a couple platforms since it recently came out on Steam, PS, and Xbox - Rune Factory 4. It is an older game, originally on the 3DS, so don’t expect graphical or technical marvels, but the game is FUN and very well-written and charming. Characters have great personality and tons and tons of unique dialogue. Crafting is very deep and addictive, combat is enjoyable (difficulty selection too), there is farming, and monsters you tame can work your farm or fight with you. Most the NPCs will come fight with you too if their affection is high enough. Random treasure chests you find are very addictive since they can contain valuable items from the outset of the game.

I also got addicted to Diablo II Resurrected. It is tough though! But that might be part of why it addicted me, the reward. Still, at this point, sticking with Hammerdin since it is supposedly easiest, eventually want to do more with my Sorceresses more.

Since I took my Switch on the trip I just went on, finally playing BotW a bit more. I can tell it is starting to addict me and will sink many hours into it… not sure why I kept putting off playing it.

the group EzPz has a mostly vanilla smp if you want to join, it only has the plugins mobarena, MCMMO, and a dynmap.

the new minecraft update makes exploration just incredible, worlds actually have stuff to explore for.

Oooh, I LOVE D2R! I couldn’t get any of my friends to join me though, they see it as an inferior D3. :frowning:
I have a Necromancer that I’m working on Nightmare difficulty right now.

Id be interested in taking a look at that server, if you’re willing to DM me details. I’m assuming Java edition?

I hav Medicare, it’s the doctors that take Medicare that are the problem so far. That’s what I meant about falling out of the middle class; when I started developing bone spurs I literally typed something roughly like ā€œwho the f*** can I pay to fix this pain?ā€ into my browser at work and voila. We had the xrays and the plan but then I lost everything, including the last of my savings and thus the ability to use COBRA to keep paying my spendy insurance and the concierge doctor payments. Better medical care is totally about having the money for it in the USA. In other countries the doctors aren’t lorded over by a corrupt-as-heck FDA or squeezed by a manifactured ā€œopoid crisisā€, which is more about people getting kicked off painkillers cold turkey by doctors that can’t do more for them than the opoids themselves. Efficiency is death undr capitalism. As for marriage, I’d just be looking for a less infantilised country that my current one and a legal marriage. Ideally it would also be a country where I could finish out my life growing food/planting trees. I also like mild summers and bright snowy winters. And a pony!
