Other games

yeah i have! but overal i more like the building part of the game xD i do have players in my server that play near 24/7, i know that placing 25 fireplaces will bring a continuously flow of zombies xD, so i have tried that.

Oh no not the water…the water in that game is the worst. (Thought floor was water but I see it’s not nevermind lol)

It is a great game for builders. They added thousands of shapes with the A20 update. Keep with the update on photos.

totally agree with you there, the water could have some fine tuning!
and im having a lot of fun with the a20 update and the new shapes, such a blessing in a building game
and dont forget the free block paintng!

I finally hit that maintenance point. I’m keeping my Sov fueled, but me and the roomie are playing WoW again after 6 years.
It plays a lot better/easier than it used to, so I’m happy.

DQ builders 2 is full game free until Tuesday on switch, it’s pretty cool.

A friend let me play that on his account. It was okay, but some things were still a bit irritating.

I know someone on the forum had mentioned Grim Dawn, I picked that up yesterday, like what I see of the tiny bit I played. I was torn on what platform, but decided to go Xbox first then I’ll buy for Steam Deck if I love it a lot. Edit: Went ahead and bought on Steam Deck too.

Got a bunch going on my Steam Deck already. I put a lot in the other thread, but I LOVE that thing! But having to learn stuff as I go - for example, some games (Boundless, Fallout NV) default to good console control schemes, but others don’t. For those, it took me a bit to find out how to navigate to where I could download community created ones. Some games have a ton of those ready to go. Steam Deck dock supposed to come out by late spring, looking forward to that so I can no-fuss connect controller and TV.

I really loved that game. I hope they do more in that universe.

There is at least a book, but the English translation has been a soon for a long time now. Really looking forward to learning more about the Pale.

I really like the bit I’ve played of it so far!

I read somewhere that the only thing that kept it from being Verified on Steam Deck, it is rated Playable, is the size of the text. But I thought it was easier to read on Steam Deck than on Xbox One on our TV while wearing my glasses! The only issue on Steam Deck I see is that the shortcuts aren’t labeled like they are on Xbox. But that isn’t a big deal at all. It is the same as Xbox.

Finding myself getting into Fallout New Vegas again, been awhile since I played and looks great on Steam Deck, and as I mentioned in another thread, NMS is so good on it too. I really don’t think I’ll go back to that on console, just too much better on Steam Deck.

While playing ARK (only the 2nd video game I had really gotten into ever unless you count text-based like MOO), I got curious abou twierd tropws like Warden and Boss and vaarious items and how people talked about them, because it felt like people were tapping into tropes that didn’t come from anything in-game (I assume flunking out of school didn’t completely stop me from picking up som literaary analysis reflexes). It didn’t take much searching to end up learning a bit about a game called Halo. Learning about that game made me feel like ARK might as well have been a short side story in the Halo epic – have any of you played borh Halo and ARK and if so, how well or not well could ARK be set somewhere in the Halo universe?

what game is this?

That looks like Garry’s Mod. Couldn’t tell you which workshop thing they are using for it, but there are plenty of Minecraft ones.

Finally started playing Elden Ring this morning. No clue what I’m doing, but everybody likes it so much and figured I’d start something new! And I read it is a great pick for Steam Deck.

Rebought even more stuff on the Steam Deck - Fallout 76 and 4 both, find myself getting pulled into 76 again since the start is SO much different than back in 2018 at release. I liked the game then but it is seriously improved with the NPCs and new quests and all.

Borderlands 3 went on sale 75% off so added that as well. Got a nice handheld collection now!

I’ll admit this is all pulling time from Boundless though.

Glad I got Elden Ring, I see why everyone likes it so much! Figuring stuff out, taking my time… going with magic for now, can see becoming addicted. Such a pretty game!
