I just had an update for B< on steam … Changelog? What was fixed? What was introduced? … excitied!! ^^
Saw that too :))
correct, 21MB Patch
but still no steam beta avaible XD
I think they just uploaded MS Visual C redistributables, so perhaps it’s not long until they have the beta of the C++ build out.
I didn’t see that–but I might not get the download since I have the MSVC redistribution packages already since I have about three versions of Visual Studio installed.
Seems like an update is close.
“Close”. “As soon as possible in March”. Date is 3/31. Hehe.
“Close” is about the same as Blizzard’s “Soon”.
Just don’t feel too disappointed if it slips beyond March - changes like that are extremely hard to predict
I’m just excited to start on Kovah 2 as soon as possible
You’re telling me. Every time I think about all the new world builder features, I get even more excited!
True, it is almost a complete rewrite of their codebase. Also, the devs seem pretty quiet today. That makes me think they are busy making changes.
Except for James xD
Yes the update was for the Visual Studio 2015 dependencies that the C++ version uses. We are testing it on Steam but still have a few things to finish and fix before we open it up to everyone but it is getting close! The first version will be missing some bits, mainly things that will be reworked and we will give a list with the release. Its a brand new universe - initially very small to test the servers and get more people on each world to see how its scaling up.
There is an open beta for network library tests ? Is this a new thing we can start to test ?
When the C++ version is released it will be on a separate Beta version you switch to in Steam which will test everything.
I’m a fan of this!
Yeah, too many worlds = people spread thin. I’m excited to see the community become even closer when this happens
Only thing what i miss right now is name change T_T This name is kind of fraud now
What? That was like…months ago. And just think of it as rebranding. Happens all the time.
Maybe he means his own name?
