I disagree with this strongly. By this logic if I buy 18 keys then I should get access to the backer perk that cost $500 and 167 keys then I get the Oortian Backer perks. The players that bought backer perks took a risk the game would never even launch. They could have lost every penny they spent on the game. They had thousands of hours of work erased at launch when the universe was wiped. They earned and paid for the perks. Boundless was around for years prior to launch so it is not like people did not have an opportunity to play the game and buy a backer package.
On top of this, where does this end? You will next want everyone to have access to the same cosmetics and weapons that were part of the backer perks? You want to eliminate the plot bonuses? Maybe just eliminate all the backer perks because players think that it is P2W in a game where I have yet to find a definition of winning?

yes I agree with you 100%, exclusive mean exclusive for ever otherwise wording must be exclusive for the first year as example.
if the people here cry over the totem, should i cry than that it is unfair that I can only craft the iron fist and not the golden fist ? I pay a lot more than the deluxe edition cost and can only craft the iron. But that mean the word exclusive 
a other totem version yes, but not the same. we pay a lot for it
you paid for 2 games, we paid for 1 and at the time we dont know if the game get release or not

I know we as players are just having a discussion here, which is cool. I like discussions =D
But, as far as the devs are concerned⊠i would âthinkâ that they see this as a non-issue.
When the packages were sold, it specifically said âCraft exclusive toolâ. So i feel no matter what, the actual Wayfarers Totem is safe to be Backer-Only for the rest of time, as it should stay âexclusiveâ. And thatâs cool.
Of course, as was pointed out, if another Tool was created, with same or better stats, just different name/skin that would still keep the actual âWayfarers Totemâ still exclusive.
Honestly, i figure is just a matter of time as the Candy, and Gleambow totem makes me think that other totems are on the devâs minds.

I dunno, to me candy and gleambow totem makes me think the devs want to give backers not only an exclusive tool, but the right to be the only people who can make a best in class item for all of eternity. Which is just wrong.
There should be gem and lucent totems anyway.

I believe you are right. The biggest thing I see holding this back is that it is a relatively low priority issue. They seem to have a bunch of big stuff in the works right now, so tool releases may be pretty low on the totem pole.
Edit: Then again, maybe they can release one or two for a quick win now and again. Who knows?

Iâve tried moving my food, brew, weapon, tool, etc crafting points around and maxed them out each time, but nothingâs letting me craft a wayfarer totem. Is it behind a paywall or something?
That was certain tier backer exclusive.

You can buy them, they are not expensive or you can gather the Materials and ask some one to craft them for you. We still have people capable of crafting them around.
And sorry for not explaining the baker thing lol.
