not much yet, but I got visitors:
@andysav was my neighbour back in Therka Market during early access times:
the visitors made me look on my town from the tower nearby, which I hasn’t done since before I added last 4 or 5 houses:
thats near to half done now… next 2 years I might be finished with it lol

I fueled my beacons
I have no interest in doing anything else until I read some sort of update on what the future holds

I’ll grant you the lush isn’t obvious, but metal and coal are quite obviously resources.

and a new player would be forgiven thinking only metal and only coal are found there respectively; also fossil and remnants wouldn’t be so obvious to classify to one of the types;
then there is a combination of tier of biome with type - so metal temperate which I find on my home world won’t have silver while rugged metal will; it’s not straight forward and can be misleading
a seasoned players know the meaning of descriptive names like these and know how to use place>world>resources tab to see what can be found on a given world, and know about knowledge tab blah blah… a newbie can easily get lost, thus a better tutorial is needed

Meh, i remember starting the game without knowing anything, figuring out what all the pieces meant was honestly half the fun of those early days. Plus there are online tools now if they google they can find some help.
You’re right, on topic I haven’t been on yet today but I plan to work more on my new studio/house at the open market on phem

true that but not everyone is you or me; I enjoyed my journey too, but retention rate of new players says a lot; also we had luxury of seeing stuff being introduced in updates, while a new player of now faces way more complex game with all we know thrown at them together instead of step-by-step as development moves forward
I have had 4 alts in to get some levels for those plots.
I have a few sparsely plotted areas that need the borders beefed up.
I have a new workshop in my head that I’m terrified to start.
Not sure I can make my vision a reality

Chicthatsgood acquired 475; 2hrs 17min. Was a good run. @Dat keeps me on my hunting toes… he’s fast and it pushes me to keep up so we could do more than what I could without his running pace. Fun stuff!

That is the cutest portal I’ve ever seen.
Technically it was yesterday, probably the first time that I’ve been on since I accidentally let my beacons expire a couple of months ago, which is why I’m grateful for reclaims these days.
Was kind of nice to just have a little wander around other planets again anyway. Made me realise and remember that Kol Huroo remains one of very few planets I would like to return to build on. Now mostly waiting to see what any of these upcoming news will be before I decide to rebuild anything again.
