What did you do in Boundless today?

Well, as a Veruca, too much is never enough, but usually when you look at it and your eyes go “OUCH!”

Happened to most forgers, this is why most forgers either bring the prize up or don’t sell to the public anymore. I hate to see my forged stuff sold on for profit and can imagine others forgers hate it too.

That is interesting… It wasn’t me as I don’t buy forged stuff anymore. Makes me wonder who it was though. If you want to share that info with me @Balkinus then please PM me.

I wish we could see a list of names in a selling plinth who buys the sold items.

Insane… some people have put so much more time into this game than I have, at my 1,200+ hours. XD I think I just hit close to level 150 on my main. Although I’ve started doing all my crafting with him now on a separate skill page and grinding out some Topaaaz.

And I thought 12,000 cubits was a decent bit to have on me … Hehe I respect the grind.

Thanks. I just passed 10k hours heh. After a long hiatus grinding blocks and running machines in Boundless is at least cathartic.

I haven’t been building anything so that helps keep the XP flowing.

So…long story short, I realized I need a real workshop and storage center, and I needed it about six months ago. The amount of time I waste every play session trying to figure out what I am doing and where to find what I’m looking for causes my citizen to scream into the abyss…and at this point, the abyss has grown too hoarse to scream back.

However, I didn’t want to build a huge elaborate building for a workshop or something strictly functional like my current, apparently not so temporary, storage. So in true boundless fashion, I started penning a bunch of designs to make a compact workshop and storage that would fit my needs. The next thing I know I’m looking at building some giant monstrosity that will be easily visible from space that is going to take me months to farm the material before even breaking ground on the project! I already feel bad at having one giant, unfinished build. I don’t want to drive down the property value of @VerucaKatt’s amazing city even more than my builds already do!

This was the point I found my last 87 oort shards, which made me realize I was being stupid. Both for running out of processed oort shards, and for wasting so much time designing complex and detailed workshops I was never going to use and/or build. When the new oort shards get done cooking, I am reopening the portal to my sov and am building the most functional & horrific-looking sky factory in the entire history of sky factories!

P.S. You’re welcome Mr. Abyss, and I hope your voice gets better soon.

Logged in briefly. Filled my portals with oort shards. Donated some Oort Shards. Noticed some blocks just disappearing from my base.

Peyago’s Playground is the name of the sov, but I may have to change it to Artisticly Challenged once the workshop is set up. There is no portal open to it right now, but I should have one up when I hop back on after I finish writing the chapter I’m working on. I’ll post coords and pics so everyone will be thankful it’s not on a public planet.

I like having your monster build next door, lol! I also laugh that my village qualifies as a “City” and that I’m 1/3 of the way to a “Great City”. I always look forward to seeing if you’ve added any bits and bobs. If you need a functioning workshop with tons of storage close by, I can always open up my (unused) Guild Hall to you.

I love the way you put this.

I was in a similar position when I started playing again. I put a ton of machines in a cave, and I have beacons scattered around where I open and close reclaim for the majority of my storage. This frees me up to do stuff in the game. I thought it was going to be for a month while I made some blocks but, so far, it’s not

Still I spend way too much time trying to think up something “worthy” to build - and always end up imagining I’m going to need a ginormous monstrosity that I should probably hide from view.

In the end I guess I have analysis paralysis, or something. It’s just about planet renewal time for my current junkyard though, and I think this time I’m going to move.

This is scary :scream_cat:

Does someone have leftover permissions on your base or something? I’ve forgotten to plot new construction before, and accidentally broken blocks running around with tools in my hands. (wonky trigger tools caused me to start avoiding quirks completely :face_vomiting:)

It would be reassuring if you could get this attributed to something besides a game bug, I’m sure.

Bought plots on the remaining characters .
Plotted some more and started to do the underside of the clock. Had to quit half way. Time up .

Where did they disappear? How? Why?

I don’t know but Host thought a few times that some blocks are missing. I told him that he’s random and sometimes either running out of materials or taking from one side to add somewhere else temporarily. Well. It is a thing with Host. After all I can watch his building style. But it’s still odd as that happened also few times. And I saw yesterday? Eliphants gleam farm hub. The sales area has damages in their walls. No sign of fuel forgotten and reclaiming area. It’s really as parts just vanished… can anybody confirm block loss in their buildings? If yes, it could be a new bug and really needs to be reported

Nobody notices that surface resources for example take longer to respawn?

Normally just takes few hours. But got lately also the feeling they’re not taking only few but many hours or even days to fully return…

Yes this is super scary.

I just went through elly’s gleam shop I see some missed chiseling and other stuff, haven’t noticed any obvious holes. But also I don’t visit here really. I wouldn’t have noticed if you didn’t point it out.

I’ve been few times there and never noticed anything like that:

Missing sign

A hole that let’s enemies enter

@ellyphant do you know what happened?

This area was a few times my go to for color selection or when I was too lazy to gather for some quick use.

Photos are from yesterday or the day before.

Someone who had perms bombed it from what I heard. Possibly on accident. :man_shrugging: I thought it had been fixed though.

Either someone’s been working on what @georgegroeg describes, or there’s something glitchy.

This scares the heck out of me, all the time

The guild perms I have make it risky to walk around carrying tools or bombs.

Btw. It happened 2 weeks ago.

On a side note last night I was running around the slums and thought that some of the goo that was on the ceiling down there was missing. I can’t say for sure because it’s so randomly placed.

I spend a lot of time staring at my build. Looking for things to improve, etc
I have never seen a block or itm missing that wasn’t directly related to a plot removal gone wrong.
