One thing that does happen is that some of us are slower than others and take longer to gather up the loot. The main group has already moved on, so of those left behind, someone will usually open a warp to the main group to rejoin. I’ve stayed behind with the stragglers at times to make sure they can get there and benefit.
For sure. But there is only so long we can hold a group up. That’s why people hang back to open warps to the front.
Oh, I’m not complaining in the least. When I joined you on this last hunt, I got more rough oort (467) in one hunt than I’ve ever gotten in any hunt.
I was just saying that I tend to run slow and I’m fine with this. So I tend to hang back and make sure the slower ones can keep up.
my problems is with putting portals after hunts i never put them during only when i waiting alone for people to make it to next meteor.
putting them down during and not doing it to get to next meteor is not cool its just trolling.
i have had 2 players come to my house after hunts trying to control us telling us we cant do that but i see so many people doing it after i think people don’t know us and trying to test us for some reason,
if they would just ask nicely and not try to make demands i would not have a problem with them talking to me about it but some players think because they been playing longer that they can boss others around and i am not the ones o i end up telling them off and not wanting to go to there hunts because people like that don’t deserve any participation from other players .
This is not only me and the person in my guild i now there are other players who think this but wont speak up because they are new or just don’t want to get into something with people but i think players should speak up for them self’s and if the other person wont listen then just report the situation because getting yourself band is wont help the game.
i been looking to bring a lot of players i play another mmo(ff14) with but if i do with weird things like this happening.
PS: iIove this community a lot of nice people only a few bad apples so don’t think i think the game is toxic it is not
If you are being harassed, bullied, or griefed by other players, please send a PM to @james or @Leahlemoncakes . This is against CoC.
If you have any screenshots of the chat or screenshots of them surrounding your builds, please include that info as well.
we already reported it just saying this is a thing that turns me off
Yeah it sounds like you did nothing wrong there in that hunt. @glr
Feel free to also take down names and tell them to the hunt leader (sounds like it was @Bethlehem). She is very tough (mom of 2 boys)
Frankly the in game reporting system only really gets attention if a bunch of players use it. I’m happy to come take a look at the issue with the walls and try to help.
Did you ever play ffxi online? Loved that game. I couldn’t really get into 14 myself, though there are quite a few players in the boundless community
Not knowing what weather is generated by the various biomes. It is going to get old returning planets because it rains all the time when I picked desert biomes. Either let us shut the weather off or provide more information on what weather the biomes generate.
I started building on my planet and now it has rained 4 times during the same day/night cycle. So this planet is a waste of money and time spent mapping and building.
Idk if there is any sense to weather, sometime its snowing in place i would not imagine. Wondering if its juat a rng thing.
If weather is just a RNG thing then I am even more convinced they need to provide a shutoff switch. My first attempt had a topography not compatible with what I wanted to build and this one has too much rain. I guess it could have snow someplace else on the planet. I did not see any when I was mapping it.
In any case, another planet into the bin after only a few days.
Idk if anything has changed since this post, but I think this might help.
A week ago I created a planet with mostly desert bioms.
I noticed that it was raining where there is vegetation (savannah, oasis, beaches …) and the snow manifests itself locally on the desert-ice biom.
The weather may overlap with other bioms but nothing shocking. Overall for me I find the weather of my planet consistent.
I did not have any surprises.
Oh no, that’s ridiculous and I would never condone that. The hunt is finished, you’re free to portal out of there imo.
Deffos report any harassment.
Yeah this, I’m relentless when it comes to societal injustices.
I’d deffos help bring any griefers names to the attention of the devs.
Oh. Now that kind of behavior is not tolerated at all. If you want, get my attention in game and I’ll be happy to be another witness. I’ll be more than happy to come check out the wall issue as well.
If more people are aware of it, the more that can report it.
Character name is Aenar.
i never play 11 much but i did watch my brother play it was a cool game
I am going to say the lack of communications from the devs. For instance, 10/19 and no word on a Halloween event, even to say it is coming (or not). I see rumors on here all the time and a lot of old posts resurrected discussing old concepts that never came to fruition. People say they individually had chats with specific devs but that isn’t an official communication and doesn’t indicate anything real. I am starting to wonder if Sovereign / Creative planets was the last hurrah and they are now done. I enjoy this game but would like the devs to give us an idea as to what they are working on, what to expect as to events, etc.
Who said my name?
The tedium, the chores the game makes you do to play while also staying connected and keeping your stuff, oh man I’m feeling it hard with portals especially the bigger ones. Literally anything to consolidate fueling things would be nice, A machine please? So I can just have a chest next to it with fuels oof.
it’s hard to play Boundless casually. the beacon system discourages building, since anything you build has to be regularly maintained in real time or be erased. I would suggest getting rid of automatic regeneration, instead allowing players to regenerate chunks manually, perhaps requiring more players or persistent effort from one player if a build has a significant amount of rescources added to it. I started playing this game because I wanted to see what people create; by regularly erasing player creations, you are destroying content that your players can explore.
Higher-tier gear can also feel hopelessly out of reach for new players, especially if they can’t find a shop that sells it. I think creating an easy way to locate shops would go a long way towards making the early game more accessible. For instance, setting your compass to show you all plinths that are currently buying/selling an item of your choice. perhaps also allowing players to say whether they want their plinths to show up on a compass, in case they want a hidden prize or a display case.
