Strangely, on this occasion I had popped down a beacon in my little base area and I’d also recently fueled it up as much as it would take. I’m sure the fuel has expired by now - I don’t get to play that often (work and family commitments) so that’s also a bit of a put off for me to keep returning.

So, it seems possible to get “stuck” on a flower. This used to happen a lot more but recently it’s been happening less to me. I have never had the ledge climb skill on any character.

The way it happens for me is that I’m running around (often during a hunt) and I start rubber-banding really hard. No matter what direction I go or if I jump I always am pulled back to the same spot. I look down, I see a flower, I break it, then I can move again.

It’s like the server thinks I’m stuck, but my client does not. I personally have not had this happen after 192. I think this first started happening around the time plants started dropping placeholder items. I remember getting stuck 5 or 6 times a hunt around that time. Part of me wonders if the issue is fixed now but there are still old plants that nobody has destroyed yet that still have the issue.

If it happens to me again I’ll try to get a video.

Yeah i’ve been stuck on a flower. Its the same as getting stuck while jumping up a mountain which happens a lot since the latest few patches. I am guessing you’d need to jump but its a guess as its only happened once. Getting stuck on a mountain or mining though happens every single mining run, the worst case is I am thrown into the mountain, then back out again for half my health. Most times I just get stuck and then thrown up/back and clear. - It could be lag related, try it on the most laggy server for your location, I do a lot of my mining on furthest away servers from Europe.

Signs? Require power to make now?
I don’t think signs should be limited to only higher level or advanced crafter characters.
I don’t think signs make a character more powerful.
I think signs are used to help players communicate and should be readily available to all characters early on.

Lots of silly little niggly things make me roll my eyes and make me only spend a little while on it before getting annoyed and exiting. However at the moment the main thing that’s making me feel like quitting (even though I’ve only just started playing) is the rising need of power to make things that didn’t need power beforehand, as well as the ridiculous amount of things that are so hard to find just to make things. Oh so frustrating indeed :rage:

I agree with a lot of what you said. I took a 3 month break from the game. When I left, it just seemed like a grind to get materials to add to my builds. (for clarification, this is not the reason I took a break). When I returned what I found is that now even some of the simpler things to create when I left require more items to make (as an example the addition of sackcloth for simple iron tools) and the more advanced require a lot more items (power, leather and enriched bonding agent for gem tools). I do understand the point raised that there are ways to efficiently gather the various resources that have been added. My point is even if I can gather them efficiently I do have to gather them and in the past I did not. I am spending more time grinding not less.

Yesterday I did do some mining trying to gather diamonds and coal. I was going to do some gathering today for some other items I need to continue crafting, but could not bring myself to spend a couple of hours just grinding to get resources so I can make the tools to gather the other resources I need to craft the blocks I want for my build.

Do not get me wrong, I like the game or I would not have returned. But I am on the fence as far as how much more I am willing to invest in a game (time and money), when I see the grind time expanding as it moves closer to release.

One of the most annoying things that I hate with every fibre in my body is the title display.

Wandering close to someone’s area…suddenly a MASSIVE display on the middle of the screen (highly distracting).

You wander one block out (possibly building next to or fighting) then wander back in juuuuust over the line and…
