How is the color determined? in that picture the first recipe used my dark orange refined gleam. Which makes sense. But then the second recipe shown used some stale cerulean gleam and some dark orange, but still makes dark orange glass? how did that happen? how did that determine that it would be dark orange glass?
My best theory based on testing; RNG. Even the one it shows isn’t what will come out in mixed creations!

When you craft the system will take resources from the machine’s inventory first and then your personal inventory. If there is a distribution of input colours then the output will select an output colour by sampling the input distribution.
For example, if there are 75 red gleam and 25 blue gleam, then there is a 75% chance that all the outputs will be red, and a 25% chance that all the outputs will be blue. It’s a single roll for all the outputs.
I would imagine in this case the system pulled in some other colours and they were unluckily selected as the output colour.

Ah man!
I’m a bit annoyed with this.
In the refinery I put 27 Luminous Green and a range of other colours in single blocks to make up to the 36 so I can mass craft it into 50.
According to the queue it says Luminous Green, once it finished it then converted to “White” yes “White”… luckily I recorded this as I was AFK whilst making my dinner.
The Video is up on YouTube and as you can see…
I didn’t want to edit the recording after it had finished, I’m afk for about 3 minutes until I check th…
I invested in some black gleam to make a mass craft of Blk lanterns and Bright Azure lanterns the tool tip after I hit craft even verified the colors of the lanterns BUT when they finished cooking they were Cold Berry (which was supposed to be blk) and Stark yellow which was supposed to be bright Azure.
gleam colors go for a lot of money and my investment is now void. I would either like my Black gleam and Bright azure back or the mass craft lanterns if possible. thx
