Hey there. I am still wondering if my friends laptop will be able to run this game. From the specs it seems okay but I’m a little bit scared about the bottleneck Geforce 710m (2GB) he’s got. The card does support DX11 but I’m just not sure it can handle Boundless. Maybe you guys can help me

I can run this game on integrated graphics on lowish. Any GPU should be fine.

You will definitely be able to enjoy the game at least on average details - this game is rather friendly if it comes to requirements and runs well on most GPU. The only issues you might expect are to be internet connection-based rather than your computer performance. So, rubber banding and such will happen more likely than GPU-based problems.

Thanks for the feedback  Our internet connecetion is pretty good ,but since it’s early access I’m fine with a little rubber-banding.

Just a note, some integrated GPUs on laptops do cause texture glitches and have rainbow vomit syndrome. Generally updating drivers works, but we have quite a few threads about texture problems.

OK, I was thinking of getting this for my sons. Not all of their CPUs are current as their GPUs meet minimum. None of them have intel, all AMD what are the instructions from CPU that are needed? I know “No Man’s Sky” launched saying it worked on older CPUs and did not work until updated with legacy support for SSE4 as their CPUs do not have.

Ryzen CPU should run at least. What about bulldozer CPU. I would like to know if someone ran on FX-4130 at all? or Phenom II X6 1055T?

Ryzen CPU is incredibly solid. I run a Ryzen 5, 16gb Ram, and a 480 and can max out the game with zero issues in terms of FPS ever.

I’ll see if I can test out my Athlon 860k this weekend for how it performs with an older 370 GPU
