We haven’t see this so far. Have you had the large crafting time issue again with the same machine since then, despite only having a small percentage of wear?
Thanks for the information, we’ll add this to the database alongside your earlier post about it occurring with some of the Wildstock.
Dzchan94:
I’ve noticed that when you craft in a beacon that you have permission, but it’s not yours, you don’t get exp.
You only get exp when crafting on a machine, when it’s your beacon.
That’s currently the way it works in game, but we’ll make a note of this for the designers to consider.
We should have a fix for this in the next update, as long as you use a machine in your own beacon.
Those are not log files. You can get the log file from here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Turbulenz\Boundless\boundless_log.txt
If you would like to report a problem when you are playing Boundless please include the following:
Finding the Boundless game log:
The game generates logs in following locations:
On Mac OS X:
~/Library/Logs/Boundless/log.txt
On Windows:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Turbulenz\Boundless\log.txt
On most versions of Windows %LOCALAPPDATA% is a hidden directory. To access the file you can type the path to the file directly into Windows Explorer.
Please Note - The most recent log will be log.txt, older log…
Also, if you haven’t done so already, please email the crash dumps over to us.
Thanks for the information, we’ll add this to our database.

I’m torn as to the usefulness of the “Climb” ability.
On one hand, it’s amazing for climbing mountains on foot, and for jumping on top of something you grappled to the edge of from below.
On the other hand it has an incredibly nasty habit of auto-cancelling grapples, especially when trying to grapple up those mountains perhaps too steep to climb even with climb, and it also triggers in such a way that I just know it’s going to kill me at some point during caving by catapulting me clean over a 1 block wide spot I was trying to stand on.
Really, if it could just be adjusted to not cancel the grapples unless it’s within say 1-2 blocks of their claw, that would be great. I can understand the limitations and give-and-take of the other issue, and am more or less fine with it.
Edit: I’ve also noticed that it never, ever seems to trigger during the “air jump” second jump. Not sure why, but that also makes it seem pretty much useless if you’re specced into air jump at all, let alone into both levels of it.
Is that the ‘Edge Climb’ skill you’re referring to?

If I trade with someone, and I am in the ‘Edit Currency’ screen, and my trading partner close his trade panel, I cant close mine anymore, my screen will stuck in the trade panels ‘Edit Currency’ screen. I needed to close the game from the task manager.
If the other player quits the trade, does it display ‘Trading Cancelled’ on screen as well?

Trading is messed up pretty severly. Cannot view the amount of items in a smart stack within the trade window, so cannot tell whether or not you are getting screwed.
cannot view my own smart stacks either within the trade window
Thanks for the bug report, we’ll log it into our database.
Can you find out what the other player was doing at the time in terms of what menus were opened?
How are you getting into this situation? Did you wait until the Warp Conduit’s timer finish before it closed. When I tried it, the Warp Conduit simply disappeared.
Arkefyre:
seems to happen to me whenever i warp from sanctum in general, not just when i start the game.
I once was in my base before it had walls and set up a bunch of mass craft, then warped to sanctum for protection while i left to do some things. Came back into my base an hour later to 0 xp
Just to check, are you crafting these in your own beacons or are you crafting items in someone else’s beacon?
Was this from your own inventory?
In my own case, these were crafted in my own beacon that I placed and fueled, and that Boundmore also had villager status in.
If you’re referring to the Igneous Stones, you now require less rocks to craft stones.
Were you by any chance standing within someone else’s beacon at the time before you choose to collect crafted items?
At present, villagers will not be able to gain XP when crafting within someone else’s beacon.

Not receiving any XP reward from machines that have been active, after logging back in.
Turned on a couple of orders;
Checked xp being at 1,047;
Logged off;
Walked the dog long enough to know orders were completed;
Logged back in;
Noticed my XP in sanctum being at 1,047;
Kept my eye on the upper right corner of the screen to notice the +xp gain;
Walked through the portal;
Saw +xp (in the top right corner);
But textline with ‘+amount of xp’ was quickly replaced by +0xp;
Check xp being at 1,047.
Wrote this sad story.
Was it your own beacon or someone else’s beacon?
Dzchan94:
So my theory was right, there’s a thing called “crafter exp donations” I guess Elop Portas machinery will get unused for a long time.
Registered this bug, was trading with karokendo, when I decided to add coins to the trade, while I was doing so, a wildstock attacked. Karokendo declined trade to kill it, but I got stuck in the following screen:
Could only quit the game to solve it.,
Sounds a bit like the issue experienced by @Kawwak .
If I trade with someone, and I am in the ‘Edit Currency’ screen, and my trading partner close his trade panel, I cant close mine anymore, my screen will stuck in the trade panels ‘Edit Currency’ screen. I needed to close the game from the task manager.
We’ll log a bug.

Exploiting the Request Basket to trigger the Who wants to be a Coinionaire’?’ objectives
Build a Request Basket;
Go to the Budget tab;
Enter the maximum amount of money you have available;
Confirm the new budget;
Reset the budget back to 0;
Doing this repeatedly will stack and eventually trigger the ‘Who wants to be a coinionaire?’ objective;
NOTE #01: I did it with my 40.000 coins. The more you have the easier it is to get to the top.
Got bored along the way and started doing something else, but you get the idea:
Thanks for the information. As you said, it’s a bit of an exploit, but will take longer if there’s less coin.
Wasn’t paying attention and fell into a hole in the ice. No health depletion because I didn’t fall too far. I noticed that once down there the objects in my hands went into “vibration mode,” meaning they flickered between normal and slightly-larger renderings of themselves. This eventually settled down once I moved a certain distance away. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it, but I don’t write up single occurrences of issues.
Since I haven’t yet created a grapple (need more XP to buy the skills) I ended up going back to Sanctum, and as the view shifted to my avatar assuming the Lotus position, I saw a quick flash of something that said either “warp failure” or “wrap failure” (I’d just crossed the south polar region). No idea what that meant. Got to Sanctum okay, though.
