I wanted to ask this question soon too.
I know that you can’t tell us every day what you are working on and i realy appreciate that you make a survey about beacons but in my opinion you are sharing too few informations about the development cycle.
A lot of discussions in the forum are build on outdated informations(this is only one example). I can not imagine how this can help you in any way. it’s not fun anymore to participate in discussions since we usually don’t get any feedback from you! In my opinion this is unacceptable for a EA game in which some people spend a lot of money!
I would appreciate it if we - the community - are informed prior to major changes and / or asked for our opinion (Is this not one of the reasons why we spend money on EA ?!) ! Ofc you are free to do what you think is the best for the game … but at least i like to be informed!!!
I would also appreciate it if you could make a weekly or monthly Information Day where you tell us what you are working on, what the current goals are or what problems you are facing(This has been asked several times). I saw this at Kerbal Space Programm where they had a “Devnode Tuesday” once a week. This worked pretty well for the KSP community.
there are also no new news on the offical page since October 2. 2015 (Release 113). Why don’t you update the official Page? Afaik we have already had realse 115 ?! So in fact we don’t got any new news since Oort has become B< (this are now almost 3 months … you shared only some concept art). I think the official homepage should be a business card for your product and there is only little current information.
EDIT: In response to @vdragon: I don’t say Update 115 is not available for us to play … i say it’s not mentioned on the offical page which is bad advertising because a feature that is available is not mentioned! if i where new to the game and spot not coincident feature sets on Steam Page <-> Official Page I would be skeptical!
I hope you (@james, @ben) take some time and review your information policy with respect to the community!
