Finished my furniture shop. I lined up the ingredients needed for groups of items (doors, chests, etc) in nice little sections so that except for specific ‘tinting’ items, I can just grab and craft. Will likely add the main colors since I ony decorate in purples usually as well so should be able to keep stacks around. I couldnt justify setting out ‘example props’ of seasonal items since I haven’t attended many holiday events but I may cave and add those too

I started a new character, AdoraLupinatu. To cut confusion in game. She’ll be my run around and meet people alt. impish grin
She’s so TINY. Plowing through matter just to get levels so I can get her tatted up and masked. I feel so underdressed lol

Chicthatsgood Prepared for a Tier 6 hunt tonight (4 PM PDT);
CraftyChic started making white gravel and white sand. Not sure what I’ll use it for but making it from rock is cool. Got char #6 up to level 40. Yay!
HappyChic Harvested some bitter and spicy beans.
Rhalta shined up her crafting skills.
Cula contemplated forging, but never got around to it.
Rhysc pulled some mobs at feather falls… she gets bored.
Yeah, I dawdle a bunch, but I play every. single. day. I love this game and my perky guild.

today I’m playing too much, same as yesterday etc.
working towards finishing a large project and I’m in the zone, build some pillars here, a tree over there, chisel chisel but my eyes hurt and I need some sunshine, (and maybe the loo).
oh well, there’s always tomorrow…

I went on a shopping expedition and ended up not buying a single thing because I was too busy ooo-ing and ahh-ing builds.
I discovered Fungi Forest on Antar VI.
I’m gobsmacked.

I found it at night. And it was gorgeous. But it’s even better in the daylight when you can see all the minute details.

OK literally today (I’ll do a lengthier update on the TRONK thread later):
Today I added an actual little hub.
I’ll need a central place for portals around my build. I was also ready to add some more travel options. I just couldn’t decide what to do about this - then last night I was looking at a temp portal frame I
had build (again) and realized that I should actually put the portal in the hole in the floor, behind it.

Megahub Portal
I’ve been using a local GTG portal during construction and I decided to keep it open. So I moved it over to the new hub. I went to add another local hub, and all they had was big portals available so I took one anyways
Local Network Hubs
TRONK surely a never complete build and my focus will move around but if you want to see this thing it’s got portals now. I’ve been wanting to start “rooting in” a little deeper and this gave me good incentive and let me test a couple of ideas.
The hub is inset into the floor of the space inside the base of the current stump. Because I got the larger Ultima portal it’s a little more exposed right now I may inset it somewhere later
There’s a nice ‘no jumping required’ run up to the stump floor now
There should be plenty of room here for my build portals and maybe some farms or other local shops and features. Also there are some options for expansion:
The Megahub portal is tucked away in a sort of a back corner. It’s hard to miss though

So yeah there we go. As usual when an inspiring idea hits, just built for (too many) hours and now it’s the next day and I work in a few hours

Resisted the urge to build a HUGE compass outside a major hub exit on a given planet which looked exactly like a compass with 3 friend icons on it that look like they’re really close to you.

I mean … in fairness, it’s a little bit ‘trolly’ … isn’t it?
It’d have to be done with the hub owner’s permission … and even then … I don’t have the plots or energy (rn) to spare.
